To ensure readability even in unfavorable lighting conditions, the hands and indices of Palais Royale 873 V2 are coated with Super-Luminova.
Super-Luminova are luminescent pigments that function similarly to small light storage batteries. This innovative luminous material is considered the non plus ultra in the luxury watch industry.

THE CLOCKWORK
Inside the Palais Royale 873 V2 ticks a Swiss caliber 5030.D from the house of Ronda. Ronda is one of the world's largest manufacturers of high-precision movements and has stood for the highest quality and durability since 1946.
In addition to the chronograph with central stop second, minute counter, and hour counter, the 5030.D offers Add & Split functions, date, and small second. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptionally long standard battery life of 54 months – a value that is unparalleled.
DIAMONDS
On the dial, 10 diamonds in an octagonal cut are applied, which emphasize the noble character of the watch. The octagonal cut refers to a special cutting style in which the stone is shaped to create eight edges.
A carefully cut octagonal diamond achieves an exceptionally high brilliance. This is because, in the size range up to a maximum of 0.02 carats, larger facets unfold an optimal effect.
